- DETAILS Designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of YOOXYGEN, the WRÅD x YOOX sweatshirt is made of Italian organic cotton and is the result of the WRÅD ‘Endorsed by Perpetua’ program. Its vibrant gray color comes from the traditional mineral dyeing process dating back to the Roman era. The technique was passed down through generations to the present day by women from the Monterosso Calabro community, in Calabria. The process is reimagined today in a dynamic circular economy with the collection of otherwise discarded graphite powder. This has allowed for a 90% reduction in water consumption, 40% reduction in energy consumption and the elimination of chemical dyes. An eco-friendly story, rediscovered and put forth by WRÅD for a more sustainable future.
